CRITICAL RESPONSE

"Fantastic music, a wonderful, glorious score and a great story... It would probably be a huge hit in the West End."
Roger Foss, LBC Radio

"I have seen most musicals worth seeing (and many more not worth seeing), but few match this. ODETTE shows "the dark side of Swan Lake", adding a compelling back-story to the familiar tale. The music is thrilling, haunting and memorable, the lyrics witty yet poignant, and the large cast multitalented. For a show boasting everything a great musical should, look beyond the West End and don’t miss it."
London Lite

"Alexander S. Bermange has created an interesting and accessible score. The ensemble pieces are filled with dramatic tension and there is a delicate balance of moving romantic ballads and acerbic comedy."
The Stage

"I have enjoyed witnessing Alexander S. Bermange's development as a writer of musicals over many years and I am sure that ODETTE will be a further step on his road to the front rank of British composers and lyricists."
Sir Tim Rice
